TAG Academy is committed to the safety and well-being of every student. This page is a public summary and does not replace current law, staff training, or the school’s complete internal procedures.
Florida law requires a person who knows or reasonably suspects child abuse, abandonment, or neglect to report it to the Florida Abuse Hotline. Internal notification to school leadership does not replace an individual reporting obligation.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first and then contact the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-962-2873.
Staff should also promptly notify designated TAG Academy leadership in accordance with school policy and fully cooperate with authorized investigations. School escalation is additional to—not a substitute for—required external reporting.
